Andy Lockhart

Having initially pursued a career in Physics, Andy graduated from Heriot-Watt University in 2017 with a BSc (Hons). During the degree, Andy laboured on building sites throughout the holiday periods and discovered a passion for construction. Because of this, Andy decided to pursue a postgraduate diploma in Civil Engineering and Construction Management, studying at home whilst working full time as a Site Engineer.

Moving on from Site Engineering, Andy was offered an opportunity as a Trainee Site Manager after the Civil Engineering firm went into administration. Andy worked up from Trainee to Assistant Site Manager, delivering projects up to £100m. As an Assistant Site manager, Andy managed the Longniddry village site which won the Social Housing of the year at the Scottish Home Awards. He also delivered dozens of high quality new-build homes for a well-known 5-star builder, throughout the next 2 years, before Joining HM Raitt at the end of 2024.
